Kenneth Haik, MD

Dr. Haik, a New Orleans native, attended Tulane University and received his medical degree from Tulane University Medical School in 1975. He attended Charity Hospital affiliated with Louisiana State University from 1975- 1978. He the completed two fellowships at Harvard University and Peter Brent Brigham Hospital. Additionally he completed a Glaucoma Fellowship with R.J.. Simmons & Associates in Boston, Massachusetts.

He is Board certified in Ophthalmology and specializes in glaucoma and cataracts. He has been in private practice since 1978 helping patients in restoring their sight by surgery or improving with the help of glasses or contact lenses.

In his spare time, Dr. Haik enjoys playing golf.



W. Lee Terrell, MD

Dr. Terrell who prefers being called Lee, is a native of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, who just happens to be Dr. Kenneth Haik's brother-in-law.

Prior to Dr. Terrell's medical education, he earned his BS on Chemical Engineering in 1973 at Tulane University. He continued at Tulane where he then attended the School of Medicine from 1974 - 1977, where he earned his MD degree in 1977. Dr. Terrell is a board certified ophthalmologist. Dr. Terrell's internship and residency was from 1977 - 1980 at Charity Hospital (Louisiana's State University Medical School) in New Orleans, Louisiana. From there he has been in private practice since 1980 treating patients for there opthalmic problems by various procedures, such as surgery, glasses or contact lenses.

Whenever Dr. Terrell has any spare time, he is up and away flying.



Elliot Finkelstein, OD

Dr. Finkelstein (Board Certified) is a native New Orleanian, who graduated from a local high school, and the proceeded to various universities to further his education. His career choice led him to become a Doctor of Optometry. He attended Southern College of Optometry in Tennessee, and graduated in 1978. Furthering his education he attended universities in Texas and New York to specialize in ocular therapeutic courses (low vision). During his many years of service, he served as consultant for the New Orleans Lighthouse and in the private practice sector.

Dr Finkelstein has been employed by Haik & Terrell, LLC, since 2002 in helping individuals achieve their sight by corrective contact lenses or glasses. For others who suffer from extreme vision loss due to ocular diseases, he prescribes the aid of magnifiers/telescopes to restore vision.

In his spare time, he enjoys fishing.
